Scott Bassman concentrates his practice on state and federal civil trial and appellate law, including banking and financial and class action litigation, civil rights, commercial litigation, condominium and homeowners’ association, employment and labor law, errors and omissions, land use and real property disputes, premises liability, product liability, and professional malpractice. He has experience handling Errors and Omissions claims, including those brought against insurance brokers and agents. Mr. Bassman has been recognized by Florida Trend Magazine in its Legal Elite publication and as a Top Lawyer in the South Florida Legal Guide. Mr. Bassman earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and minor in Computer Science from Florida State University, and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University (where he graduated in two and a half years and in the top fifteen percent of his class). While in law school, Mr. Bassman was an Associate Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and finalist for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s negotiation competition.
