Jan Aguilera is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Aguilera primarily focuses his practice on General Civil Litigation, Premises Liability, Personal Injury, and Construction. Mr. Aguilera first received his Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University. Mr. Aguilera then attended Florida State University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. While attending law school, Mr. Aguilera was very involved on campus in various organizations, including serving as president of the Federalist Society and was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Business Law Society. Mr. Aguilera elected to enroll in the Business Law Certificate program at FSU, which required him to take specific business centric law courses. He was also a tax law research assistant for FSU faculty and volunteered to help the local community through VITA, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. During law school, Mr. Aguilera worked as a law clerk at a law firm in Tallahassee to gain practical, hands-on experience. In his free time, Mr. Aguilera enjoys football, golfing, snowboarding, and grilling.
