That was the question Circle Medical’s cofounders asked each other in 2014. After finding early success in other startups, and seeing how technology and great software was making everything from food delivery to travel simpler, faster, easier, and more fun, they were driven to bring those same improvements to healthcare. Circle Medical built a team that paired software engineers with top doctors to help build a software platform that wasn’t just easier for patients to use, but was also designed to make doctors and other providers more effective and efficient at providing care. We started seeing patients in person in our San Francisco clinic in 2017. Deeply committed to not only increasing access but also improving the quality of care, in 2019 Circle Medical entered into a 4 year partnership with UCSF, one of America’s top 10 hospitals. As our team continued to refine the Circle Medical App and our proprietary Medical Records software, we also built relationships with America’s top insurance companies, ensuring that most Americans with health insurance have plans that are accepted by Circle Medical. When the COVID-19 pandemic changed online medicine forever, Circle Medical leaned into being able to provide exceptional access to great medical care to anyone, from anywhere. We now see over 50,000 patients a month nationwide, and are in the process of opening up clinics in cities around the US, from New York to Miami and Los Angeles.
