When Mark O’Laker started moving friends and family back in 1989, he simply enjoyed helping people through a tough and stressful experience. His operation, which was run out of the living room of his one-bedroom apartment, soon expanded into a full-service moving company because of the number of referrals and repeat business. This led to a rapid increase in people seeking quality moving services at competitive prices! Horrible experience. Had good service the first 2 times we used them but 3rd time showed up and refused to move anything. Said pathways were not clear but we cleared all access pathways. They basically didn’t want to do the work. Very disappointed because now this has put us in a terrible position. Talked with Samantha and she basically took the word of her contractors rather than working with the customer to provide a satisfactory service. If you schedule a service and they show up and refuse to do the work and not work with you it shows me they don’t care about customer satisfaction. It could have all been averted if they just worked with us but they chose to walk away which has put us in a terrible position. She said they have been in business 29 years and know how stressful moving is but they didn’t show that type of service when they showed up. This what it says on their website: “When Mark O. started moving friends and family back in 1989, he simply enjoyed helping people through a tough and stressful experience. ” I don’t think thats a true statement from my experience.

I called for a Estimates and I was happy to hear $575.00 So Happy! Than I call back the next day and said i have to add some things and it was small things like 3 folding table and 4 folding chair and I though he was going to say No problem but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NO! the Manger Jeff said it will be $200. I said what? he said yes it will be$ 700.00 total What for this small move 1 bedroom and no kitchen set this is a 2 room apt and I’m all packed neatly in small Dialysis boxes strong boxes I was so mad that he raised the price for some folding table and chair I could put them in my car but Jeff said forget WE WILL NOT MOVE YOU! THAN I CALL HIM A CROOK for raising the price so high for such a small Local move! Crooks indeed! Taken advance of a Senior with Health problem!
